Patch takes you onto the Eagles' practice field for Wednesday's offensive session.

Embarking on his third season as Eagles head coach, Steve Lurz is optimistic that he and his coaching staff can continue the rebuilding effort going on at Owings Mills.

With Sunday’s Baltimore County Jamboree and the season opener against Overlea on the horizon, Lurz’s Eagles took to the practice field on a balmy Wednesday afternoon, where maximum effort and positive attitude were obvious points of emphasis.

Overseeing a relatively inexperienced squad, Lurz and his coaches will tolerate a slip up on the field here and there, but a lack of hustle? There’s no patience for that. Players learned quickly that breaking the offensive huddle with a walk, as opposed to a jog, just isn’t going to fly.
