Police Blotter: RadioShack Burglarized Once, Broken Into Twice

First-degree burglaries
An unknown suspect attempted to enter an apartment at the 9600 block of Devedente Drive in Owings Mills by forcing a window open on the back porch before he was discovered by the victim, who had just gotten out of the shower. The suspect climbed up to the second-floor balcony but jumped off once the victim screamed and called 911. The incident occurred at 12:21 a.m. Sunday. 

An unknown suspect entered a home at 2200 block of Ridge Road in Reisterstown through an unlocked sliding door and stole a 42-inch Toshiba TV and various jewelry items valued at $2,005. The incident occurred sometime between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday.

An unknown suspect broke into an apartment at the unit block of Stonemark Court in Owings Mills and was discovered climbing through a bedroom window by the victim, who yelled at the suspect. The suspect fled on foot. The incident occurred at 10:08 p.m. Wednesday.

An unknown suspect entered an apartment at the unit block of Enchanted Hills Road in Owings Mills and stole an HP laptop, a Playstation 3 and an XBox sometime between 5:30 p.m. June 3 and 1:02 p.m. June 4. It is unknown how the suspect entered the apartment.

Second-degree burglaries
An unknown suspect broke into the Reisterstown RadioShack through a front window and stole three mobile phones (a Blackberry Curve, a T-Mobile Samsung Gravity T and a purple Optimus phone) and an Archos tablet before an employee interrupted the suspect, causing him or her to flee on foot. The incident occurred at 9:30 p.m. Saturday. The store is located at 11718 Reisterstown Road.

A second incident occurred at RadioShack the next night, when an unknown group of juveniles attempted to enter the store by breaking a glass door and destroying a steel door. Nothing was reported stolen. The incident occurred at 8:31 p.m. Sunday.

Fourth-degree burglary
Kevin Strong Jr., 25, of Halethorpe was charged with fourth-degree burglary after he was seen carrying a stolen 46-inch Vizio TV from near the store at 4:54 p.m. Tuesday. Police say he first cut through 's security fence, located next to Walmart, and then broke the lock at Walmart's garden section to enter the store and take the TV.
