Police Identify Body Found in Reisterstown
Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 56-year-old man whose body was found in Reisterstown last week.
REISTERSTOWN, MD - Police have identified the body found in Reisterstown last week as a Baltimore man.
Jose Dela Cruz Esquivel, 56, of the 700 block of Grundy Street in Highlandtown, was pronounced deceased at the scene when authorities found him on Dec. 9, according to police.

A pedestrian saw the body on Deacon Brook Circle at Glen Granite Road that day and contacted police, officials said.
When officers responded at 7:37 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9, they reported he had traumatic injuries and his body would be taken to the medical examiner for an autopsy.

Police said Thursday that the medical examiner identified the body as that of Esquivel.
Homicide detectives continue to investigate the death of Esquivel.
