Police Identify Man Killed in Lansdowne
The man had been stabbed, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
The Baltimore County Police Department released the name of the man found dead in his Lansdowne home on Tuesday.
Willard Dimitri Rykowski, 80, was on the floor with multiple stab wounds when police found him at his residence in the 300 block of Third Avenue, according to the report.
Rykowski was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Police went to the home after an acquaintance of Rykowski asked police to check on him because he hadn't had contact with the resident since last week, according to the report.
Homicide detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department are investigating the incident.
