Police Investigate 3 Vehicles Ablaze in Pikesville

One person was injured after a vehicle exploded and set other cars on fire Monday morning near Pikesville, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

First responders were called to the unit block of Harness Court at 8:13 a.m. on Monday, where three vehicles were on fire, police reported.

Officials said that one person was injured, a man who had been standing outside his car when it exploded. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was expected to survive, police reported.

Arson detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department said there is no indication of criminal activity associated with the case, which remains under investigation.
