Police Investigating Homicide In Reisterstown
The victim was the son of an MTA bus driver whose holiday kindness recently went viral, according to reports.
REISTERSTOWN, MD — Baltimore County police are investigating a Monday night shooting in Reisterstown that left one person dead. According to police, the incident happened just before 8 p.m. in the 12000 block of Tarragon Road. Police are investigating it as a homicide.
When police arrived, they found the victim — identified as Jerry Josiah Eley, 28 — with a single gunshot wound to the upper body. Eley died at the scene.
According to reports, Eley was the son of Asia Eley, an MTA bus driver whose kindness recently went viral when she gave Christmas gifts to kids on her route.
