Police Seek Sexual Assault Suspect in Milford Mill
The Baltimore County Police Department says the 24-year-old should be considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities are trying to track down a 24-year-old Milford Mill man wanted in connection with a sexual assault involving a handgun.
Tavon James Horton, 24, of the 7900 block of Stowe Court, is facing first-degree assault and sex offense charges after police said he took a walk with a woman he met online, then pointed a gun at her and sexually assaulted her near a field.
Horton and the woman met just before 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, according to a report from the Baltimore County Police Department. The victim is a 31-year-old transgender woman who got to know him on Facebook, the report said.

When they met in person in the 3400 block of Gaither Road, they walked along a foot path, then Horton pointed the gun at the victim and told her to go into the tree line by a field, where he sexually assaulted her.
Afterward, both left the wooded area, and he ran away, according to police.

Detectives identified the suspect as Horton through investigation and have an arrest warrant charging him with first-degree assault, first-degree sex offense and related charges.
Police said Horton should be considered armed and dangerous.
