Pongo and Fiona are the Pets of the Week

Lovable dog and cat are waiting for forever homes at Baltimore Humane Society.

This week’s Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Pongo and Fiona. Here’s a little about each of them –

Pongo:
Are you in search of a giant puppy who has lots of energy and loves life? My name is Pongo and I would love to meet you! I am looking for a home where I will have room to run and play and howl all day. An active family who enjoys going for lots of walks would also be great! I do not yet know any tricks, but would love to go to puppy class and learn some along with basic skills. We could even look into positive reinforcement training classes; they sound like a bunch of fun! Having fun is my favorite thing to do. I love people and will play with any toy I can find. In my previous home I lived with children and cats. If I sound like the match for you stop by BHS soon to meet with me!

Fiona:
Hi there, I’m Fiona and I am looking for someone who will give me a loving and happy forever home. I’m what you call a “special needs” kitty. That’s because I’m deaf, have vision issues, a heart murmur, and a neurological condition. I’m also missing some of my teeth -- I’ve been through a lot in my young life, but I’m hoping it will not stop you from seeing how great a cat I am. I am very outgoing and social, and I love to talk. I talk really loud sometimes, too, since I can’t hear myself! Isn’t that funny? Having fun and being affectionate is what I’m all about. I’ll be your personal purr machine when you hold me. There’s nothing better than getting your attention and affection! I also love to lie on soft comfy cat beds and play with catnip toys. I am hoping someone will love me for being me. So if you have room in your home and heart for a beautiful special cat like me, please stop by and see me soon.
