Reah Jean Raley, 94, of Reisterstown; U.S. Marine During WW II

Reah Jean Raley, 94, died Wednesday, May 13 at her home in Reisterstown.

Reah Jean served in the United States Marine Corps at Parris Island, S.C., during World War II. She was an active member of the Glyndon United Methodist Church for more than 40 years.

She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Walter Dalton Raley, and Is survived by daughters Cheryl Covert and Dianne Raley and son Dennis Raley, as well as three grandsons, three great-grandsons, and a great-great-grandson.

A memorial service will be held at the Glyndon United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 6, at 1 p.m. An interment ceremony with military honors will be conducted at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
