Reisterstown Festival 2017: Parade, Fireworks, Car Show, Live Music

The Reisterstown Festival is jam-packed with events, from a motorcycle show to fireworks, this weekend.

REISTERSTOWN, MD - The Reisterstown Festival is slated for Saturday, Sept. 9, and Sunday, Sept. 10. A host of activities are planned, including a parade along Main Street and a fireworks show.

There will be two stages set up on Main Street/Reisterstown Road with live music playing throughout both days of the festival. See the lineup.

Saturday, Sept. 9
11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

8:30-10:30 a.m. Main Street closed from Franklin Boulevard to Hannah More Park.

9 a.m. Parade along Main Street/MD 140 to Hannah More Park.

11 a.m.-5:45 p.m. Family fun entertainment, with a petting zoo, alpacas, a military display and a lineup ranging from dancers to a slime show.

Noon "Star-Spangled Banner" at the Main Stage

Noon Motorcycle show registration

3 p.m. Motorcycle show trophies

Dusk/8:45 p.m. Fireworks with live music and beer garden going on at the same time

Sunday, Sept. 10

11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

8-11 a.m. Registration for car show

11 a.m.-2 p.m. Car show

11 a.m.-5 p.m. Family fun area open, featuring a petting zoo, alpacas, military display and entertainers ranging from Polynesian dance group to a rocket science show.

12:30 p.m. Judging for car show

2 p.m. Prizes for car show

The Reisterstown Festival takes place at Hannah More Park, 12035 Reisterstown Road.

Parking is available off-site or on-site for a $5 donation.
