Reisterstown Man Charged In Home Invasion

FINKSBURG, MD — A Reisterstown man is being held without bail in connection with a recent home invasion, according to court records. Corey Austin Starr, of the 200 block of Greenview Avenue in Reisterstown, is at the Carroll County Detention Center pending a Dec. 8 hearing, court records show.

Starr was charged with first and second-degree assault; home invasion; first, third and fourth-degree burglary; and malicious destruction of property worth $1,000, court records show.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Nov. 9, according to court records.

Starr had been arguing with a woman and allegedly pushed her down, punched and kneed her, grabbed her around the neck and returned through a window after he was told to leave by a man at the residence, the Carroll County Times reported.
