Reisterstown Man Killed In Dump Truck Crash
Police said a Reisterstown man was driving a pickup truck when he crashed into a dump truck on Franklin Boulevard.
REISTERSTOWN, MD — Police said one person was killed in a crash Sunday in Reisterstown. The collision involved a pickup truck and a dump truck, according to authorities.
Fernando Jamie Loizage, 89, of the 400 block of Fox View Court in Reisterstown, was pronounced deceased at Sinai Hospital at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to authorities. He had been driving the pickup truck.
Loizage's Ford F-150 was headed west on Franklin Boulevard when it went through a red light at Nicodemus Road, colliding with a Ford F-750 dump truck around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, police said.

The dump truck had been trying to make a left from southbound Nicodemus Road onto eastbound Franklin Boulevard, according to investigators.
The dump truck driver was hospitalized with minor injuries, while a passenger in the dump truck declined medical attention at the scene, officials reported.
