Reisterstown Man Found After Hospital Visit: Police

Police said man went missing Friday after leaving GBMC.

UPDATE — Before midnight on Saturday, police said the missing man had returned safely.

PREVIOUS REPORT — An 82-year-old Reisterstown man did not return home Friday night after visiting his wife at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC), and now police are asking for help finding him.

Egbert Wright, who lives in the 300 block of Cantata Court in Reisterstown, planned to stop at the Aldi on Reisterstown Road before returning to his family, police said.

At 6 p.m., Wright left the hospital in the 6700 block of North Charles Street driving a silver 2016 Nissan Sentra with Maryland tag 4CS3186, according to police.

Officials said Saturday morning that he had still not arrived home, and they are trying to locate him.

Wright was described as a bald black man with a mustache and brown eyes. He was said to be 5'6" tall and 180 pounds. When last seen, he was wearing a green coat and brown pants.
