To overcome and prevent bullying, both children and parents must feel empowered. Break out groups for children and parents will provide participants with the information and
tools they need.

  • In age appropriate groups, children 6-13 will discuss bullying, practice CSA inspired confidence building exercises and learn useful techniques for helping themselves and others.
  • Parents will discuss the who, what, when, where and why of bullying, and learn how to help children whether they are the victim, a bystander or the bully.

Presented by Jen Lake, Director, Comprehensive Survival Arts (CSA) and Susan Kurlander, MA, Health Educator, JCS
