When they tried to rob the man and he resisted, they shot him several times in the lower body, police said. Authorities were called to the scene at approximately 4:34 p.m. on Friday and said the victim was expected to survive his injuries.

The suspects had fled the scene. Police said Crump drove the duo's getaway vehicle and was cited for driving without a license. Court records show she was also charged with using a firearm to commit a felony crime.
