ROMG Chamber of Commerce to Hold 5K Cross Country Race
Event at Baltimore Humane Society on May 16 will benefit the chamber and Baltimore Humane Society.
On Saturday, May 16, 2015, the Reisterstown-Owings Mills-Glyndon Chamber of Commerce will hold a 5k Cross Country race. This race will be held on the grounds of the Baltimore Humane Society located at 1601 Nicodemus Road in Reisterstown. Start time will be at 8:30 am and registration opens at 7:00 am. Registration costs $35 before the day of the event and $40 at the event.
Pre-registration includes a performance t-shirt.
The race will benefit Baltimore Humane Society and the Chamber of Commerce. Wendy Goldband, Director of Marketing and PR says, “We are very excited to be hosting the 5K on our grounds. Our 265 acre wildlife preserve is perfect for the cross country run. We are so grateful to the Chamber for selecting us as the charitable beneficiary,”

The Baltimore Humane Society, founded in 1927 by Mrs. Elsie Seeger Barton, is an independent, non-profit, no-kill animal shelter in Reisterstown that provides a temporary home, safe refuge, and care for unwanted and homeless animals. It works aggressively to place each animal that comes through its doors into a loving, permanent home. The shelter receives no operational funding from the local or federal governments, or any national animal welfare organization.
