ROMG Chamber President Steps Down
Erin Trudo wrote in an e-mail Thursday that she has accepted a job outside the Reisterstown area and will be leaving the ROMG Chamber of Commerce.
The 's newest president, Erin Trudo, announced Thursday that she will be leaving the position after .
Trudo, also branch manager of the in Reisterstown, announced her decision in an e-mail listserv to ROMG chamber members Thursday.
"It is with a heavy heart that I write you this letter today. After 11 years with Susquehanna Bank my career has taken a different path and I was offered a position with a defense contractor that I simply could not pass up," Trudo wrote. "Unfortunately I will no longer be in the Reisterstown area, nor an employee of a Chamber member.

"That being said I will have to step down as president of the ROMG Chamber."
In her short tenure, a better social media presence and more events as ways to improve the chamber. She is also responsible for adding to the chamber, arranging after-hours networking events that called for drinks and socializing. Â

The chamber's first vice president, Brian DeLeonardo, will take on the role of president effective immediately, she said.
"This was a very difficult decision to make and one that required careful thought and consideration," she wrote. "I cherish all of the friendships I have made over the past 6 years with everyone in the Chamber of Commerce. I have learned so much from so many of you and I am writing this note to thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve as your president. Â
"I remain proud to say that I was part of a very vibrant time in the Chamber, and have confidence in its positive direction moving forward."Â
