School Bus In Crash Had Students From Franklin ES Aboard: Police
Police said students were aboard during a bus crash Friday afternoon in Baltimore County.
REISTERSTOWN, MD — After police said that three children were hospitalized following a school bus crash Friday afternoon in Baltimore County, authorities retracted the statement and said instead that nobody was hospitalized. The crash occurred before 5 p.m. on Friday, May 17.
The school bus was coming from Franklin Elementary School and had 15 students aboard when it crashed on MD 30 at Butler Road., authorities reported.
While police initially reported that three children were taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, the Baltimore County Police Department later said that all of those involved refused medical treatment at the scene.
