In the wake of snow and ice, weary drivers are now dealing with another menace: potholes.

Public works officials say Baltimore County averages 58,000 potholes a year, and the more severe the weather, the more severe the potholes.

Citizens can report potholes online or call the Baltimore County Bureau of Highways at 410-887-3560.

Public works crews typically make repairs within 48 business hours, according to county officials.
