Motorcyclist Killed In Reisterstown Crash: Police
The crash on Reisterstown Road resulted in one fatality, Baltimore County public safety officials reported.
REISTERSTOWN, MD — Officials said one person died after a crash in Reisterstown. A motorcycle and another vehicle were involved in the collision, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department, which cleared the scene before 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 5.
The crash occurred in front of Franklin High School in the 12000 block of Reisterstown Road, where authorities said crews were dispatched at 7:12 a.m.
A motorcycle and Chevrolet Impala collided after the car, which was going north on Reisterstown Road, tried to turn left into a business in front of the motorcyclist, who was going south, police said.

Jacob Ryan Parks, 21, of the 4700 block of Deer Park Road, was taken to Northwest Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased, police said. He had been riding the motorcycle.
The driver of the other vehicle stayed at the crash scene on Reisterstown Road at Caraway Road and was unharmed, police said.

After 8 a.m., police said investigators were continuing to look into the crash west of Franklin Boulevard on Reisterstown Road and advised drivers to use caution in the area.
Earlier, officials suggested taking Owings Mills Boulevard/Cherry Hill Road east as an alternative route to Interstate 795.
