Shelby Jean Carter, 66, of Reisterstown, died peacefully Monday, April 11, 2016, at the Futurecare at Cherrywood in Reisterstown.

Born May 4, 1949 in North Carolina she was the daughter of the late William Joseph and Elva M. Vaughan Sr. She was the wife of Robert Allen Carter. She was the sister of Terry DiPetro of Richmond, VA. And the late William J. Vaughan Jr.

Funeral services and interment will be private.
