Shooting in Reisterstown Was Targeted, Police Say
The Baltimore County Police Department said a reward of up to $2,000 was offered for information about the suspects.
Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man in Reisterstown Friday afternoon, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
At 2:56 p.m., first responders were called to a home in the 200 block of Parkholme Circle for a reported shooting and officers found a man with a single gunshot wound to his upper body, police said.
The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated for injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, according to the report.
Preliminary investigation indicated that multiple individuals came into the victim's home through the front door, which was unlocked, and got into a confrontation during which the man was shot; then the suspects left the home, police said.
According to police, the victim was targeted.
Information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of a suspect may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
