Owings Mills High School will open for classes in about four weeks, and here's a few dates of interest for those involved, according to the school website.
1. The 2013-2014 school year begins Monday, Aug. 26.
2. Fall sports registration is set to take place at the school Aug. 5 and 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. Students who want to participate need to turn in the right paperwork during one of those two dates. If you have questions, contact the school at 410-887-1700.
3. The first day of sports practice begins on Wednesday, Aug. 14, and athletes must have all the paperwork in place before being allowed to participate.
4. Ninth-grade orientation is set for Thursday, Aug. 22, at the school. That begins at 6 p.m.
