Owings Mills didn’t play over the weekend, however, the Eagles did find out their region quarterfinal opponent for Monday. Tom Blumenauer’s squad will take on 11th-seeded Harford Tech—who blew out Joppatowne, 19-0, in the 1A North opening round—at 4 p.m. at Owings Mills.

Fifth-seeded New Town, won’t be taking part in the 1A North quarterfinals along with Owings Mills. The Titans were knocked out by 12th-seeded Loch Raven, 12-3 on Friday.

Despite the home field advantage, the fourth-seeded Eagles dropped their 2A-1A North quarterfinal matchup, 11-8 to Pikesville on Saturday. Had it pulled out the win, Owings Mills would have faced top seeded Sparrows Point in the region semis.
Girls Lacrosse
After a first round bye, Owings Mills captured a narrow victory in the 2A-1A North quarterfinals. The Eagles upset second-seeded Carver A&T, 15-14, and will face third-seeded Loch Raven in the region semis, at 3:45 on Monday.
