Boys Lacrosse
After a dominating 19-4 victory over Kenwood in the 4A-3A South quarterfinals, Franklin will face a much tougher opponent in seventh-seeded Catonsville in the region semifinals (Monday, 6:30 p.m.). With a win over the Comets, who defeated the Indians, 10-7, back in March, Franklin would take on the winner of Dulaney-Perry Hall in the region finals.
Girls Lacrosse
Franklin blanked Woodlawn, 16-0 in the 4A-3A South first round, but couldn’t carry that momentum into the region quarterfinals on Saturday. The Indians fell at fourth-seeded Perry Hall, 15-9. Still, Franklin ended the year above .500, finishing with an 8-6 record overall.
