Basketball Team Stops 11-Month-Old Skid
Stevenson's women's basketball team won its first conference game of the season, 63-56.
The women's basketball team beat Hood College Wednesday night, breaking a Capital Athletic Conference losing streak that stretched back to last winter.
The Mustangs' last conference win came on Feb. 5, 2011 -- also against Hood, a university athletics statement said.
Senior Daniela Poss scored a game-high 17 points. Reisterstown native Sam Murray, a junior, grabbed eight rebounds.

Stevenson (5-6, 1-3 CAC) plays Alvernia University on the road Saturday at 1 p.m.
