Stevenson Women Eliminated from Conference Tourney
Mustangs fall to Salisbury in first round of Capital Athletic Conference tournament.

Playing in their first postseason game since the 2007-08 season, Stevenson women’s basketball found themselves down just a point at 50-49 with 6:20 remaining in the second half.
However, top-seeded Salisbury proceeded to go on a 9-1 run to widen its lead to nine with under a minute to play. The host Sea Gulls would ice the game at the foul line to preserve a 62-56 win in the CAC Women’s Basketball Championship first round.
The Mustangs (10-16)—who finish the season with their first double-digit win total since their 2006-07 campaign—were paced by junior Sam Murray and freshman Kyarra Harmon who finished with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
