Stevenson Women's Soccer Makes ECAC Tournament
The Mustangs reached the postseason despite missing out on an NCAA berth by losing in the Capital Athletic Conference semis.
The women's soccer team will play on, hosting seventh-seeded Neumann at Mustang Stadium on Wednesday in the first round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference South Division III Tournament.
The second-seeded Mustangs (12-5-3) were selected to the ECAC South Championship in three of the last four years, and advanced to the semifinals in 2009, a university statement said.
Fellow Capital Athletic Conference school Frostburg State also made the tournament and is the No. 1 seed.
