SU Sports: Women's Basketball Loses Fourth in a Row
The Mustangs women's basketball team has lost four in a row, but two track and field athletes earned conference honors last week.

The Mustangs women's basketball team forced 37 turnovers, but still fell to Catholic, 62-44, at Owings Mills Gymnasium Saturday, a statement said.
Stevenson (4-6) shot just 18.4 percent from the hardwood in the game's first half, and was never able to pull within 15 points in an improved second half.
The team, which has lost four in a row, is off for December. They'll play at Hood on Jan. 4.

C.J. Hopson and Julie Egonu were named the Capital Athletic Conference's men's and women's track athletes of the week last week, university statements said.
Egonu had two top-10 finishes at the Dickinson Holiday Invitational, finishing first in the 55 meters and seventh in the long jump.
Egonu's time of 7.3 seconds in the 55 meters was the fourth-fastest in Division III this season, a university statement said.
Hopson totaled three top-10 finishes at the same invitational, earning first place in both the long jump and high jump.
Men's Basketball
After more than a week off, the Mustangs (2-6) play Westfield State and Nichols at the Daytona Beach Shootout in Daytona Beach, FL, on Dec. 19 and 21.
