SU: Tough Week for Basketball Teams
The men's and women's basketball teams at Stevenson University went a combined 0-4 since Nov. 30.

Men's Basketball
blew a 14-point lead with just over three minutes to play Saturday, allowing St. Mary's to rally, force overtime and win, 89-81, at O'Brien ARC Arena.
The Mustangs (2-5, 0-2 Capital Athletic Conference) led for essentially the entire game, but a 17-4 run by the Seahawks led to an overtime period in which St. Mary's outscored Stevenson 15-7.

Greg Collins led Stevenson with 22 points.
Earlier last week, Mary Washington beat the Mustangs, 63-53. Brett Burrier had 13 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.

Women's Basketball
Stevenson lost, 80-64, to St. Mary's after the team committed 44 turnovers, which led to 37 points for the Seahawks.
The Mustangs (4-4, 0-2 CAC) did get a career-high 16 points from Kayleigh Guzek and junior Sam Murray (Reisterstown) scored 15 points.
Stevenson lost to Mary Washington 64-36 earlier in the week. No player scored in double figures for the Mustangs in that game, as the team shot just 28 percent from the floor.
