Town Hall In Owings Mills: How To Be Part Of Budget Process

What do you want Baltimore County to be sure to fund for Owings Mills and Reisterstown?

OWINGS MILLS, MD — As Baltimore County lawmakers plan the budget for the coming year, they want to ensure they are representing their constituents. County Executive Johnny Olszewski and council members are hosting town hall meetings in each of the seven districts, including Owings Mills.

The 4th district town hall will be Wednesday, March 11, at Owings Mills High School. Councilman Julian Jones will join the county executive from 6 to 8 p.m. at the forum.

Residents will be able to voice their concerns and priorities at the event.

"In order to best serve the people of Baltimore County, we need to hear from them directly," Olszewski said in a statement. In 2016 and 2017, he said only two residents testified about the county budget.

"We remain committed to working collaboratively with all of our stakeholders in every community," Olszewski said, "to build a better Baltimore County together."

  • 6–8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Gordon Center, 3506 Gwynnbrook Avenue, Owings Mills; Councilman Izzy Patoka
  • 6–8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Dulaney High School, 255 East Padonia Road, Lutherville-Timonium; Councilman Wade Kach
  • 6–8 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at Sollers Point Multi-Purpose Center, 323 Sollers Point Road, Dundalk; Councilman Todd Crandall
  • 6–8 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, at Owings Mills High School, 142 South Tollgate Road, Owings Mills; Councilman Julian Jones
  • 6–8 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, at CCBC Essex Administration Building, Room 110, 7201 Rossville Boulevard; Council Chair Cathy Bevins
  • 6–8 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, at CCBC Catonsville, Center for the Arts, Theater, 360 Campus Drive, Catonsville; Councilman Tom Quirk
