Crash Caused Delays on I-695 at Old Court Road

A two-vehicle crash on the inner loop of Interstate 695 caused major delays for drivers in the area of Old Court Road  for more than an hour Wednesday evening.

The collision was reported at 5:20 p.m., according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).

As of 5:50 p.m., the two right lanes and right shoulder were closed, CHART reported. Traffic was backed up to US 40, according to WNEW.

By 6:40 p.m., CHART reported the crash had cleared.
