Crash Temporarily Shut Down I-695 Near Reisterstown Road

All lanes were temporarily shut down on the inner loop of Interstate 695 Monday afternoon due to a three-vehicle collision, according to transportation officials.

By 3:30 p.m. lanes had reopened, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).

The multi-vehicle crash occurred at 2:16 p.m. on the inner loop before the exit for MD 140/Reisterstown Road, the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART) reported.

As of 2:55 p.m., the inner loop was closed in the area, and so was the left shoulder on the outer loop near the Reisterstown Road exit, according to CHART.

By 4 p.m. the crash had reportedly cleared.
