I-795 Reopens After Crash Near Franklin Boulevard

UPDATE: As of 4:30 p.m., all lanes have reopened on Interstate 795, according to the State Highway Administration.

As the result of a crash, Interstate 795 was completely closed to northbound traffic Wednesday afternoon.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at 3:31 p.m. in the area of I-795 at Franklin Boulevard, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).

At 4 p.m., the State Highway Administration reported that I-795 was closed in both directions.

By 4:11 p.m., the area of I-795 near the Franklin Boulevard exit remained closed to northbound traffic only.
