Randallstown Fire Caused Life-Threatening Injuries: Officials

A two-alarm townhouse fire in Randallstown resulted in life-threatening injuries and heavy damage, authorities said.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — One person suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday in a fire that heavily damaged a Randallstown townhouse, officials said.

The two-alarm fire broke out on Ojibway Road, the Baltimore County Volunteer Firefighter's Association reported after 1 p.m.

Heavy fire was showing from a two-story end-of-group townhouse when crews arrived, according to Baltimore County firefighters.

Neighbors told WBAL they tried to get in but could not make it past the door due to the fire, and firefighters had set up a collapse zone in case the structure buckled.

A woman had gone into the residence to rescue her dogs, WMAR reported, noting neighbors heard her calling for help and falling but could not get to her because of the blaze.

Crews remained at the scene before 2 p.m., according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.
