Woman Died After Crossing Street in Woodlawn: Police
Two pedestrians were hit Tuesday morning, one of whom survived, Baltimore County police reported.

UPDATE (3:10 pm.)—A 56-year-old Baltimore woman died after she and another pedestrian were hit by a Toyota Prius Tuesday morning while crossing Security Boulevard, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Mary Bailey, of the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in Baltimore, was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center after the 6 a.m. crash and was later pronounced deceased, police reported.
Preliminary investigation indicates the pedestrians were not in a crosswalk and were walking in an area that was not well lit, police said.

Sunrise in Baltimore occurred at 7:21 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
The Prius that struck the pedestrians remained at the scene of the crash, according to the report.

Police did not identify the second pedestrian other than to say he was a male and his condition was unknown.

A vehicle hit two pedestrians crossing the street in Woodlawn Tuesday morning, according to the Baltimore County Police Department. Both victims are expected to survive, police reported.
Officials responded to the area of Security Boulevard at Gwynn Oak Avenue after 6 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the report.
One pedestrian was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, while another was taken to Sinai Hospital with injuries that are believed to be non life-threatening, police said.
A medevac transported the victim who went to shock trauma, according to WBAL.
The vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene, according to police, who are investigating.
