Two Workers At Social Security Hit Outside Building: Police

Police said two employees were walking into work in Woodlawn when they were hit in the parking lot off Security Boulevard.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — Two pedestrians were hit in the parking lot of the Social Security Administration building, Baltimore County police reported Wednesday morning. The driver stayed at the scene, officials said.

The serious crash occurred at 6401 Security Boulevard, where the victims had been in the parking lot walking in to work at the Social Security Administration, according to authorities.

Both pedestrians were hospitalized, officials reported, one with critical injuries and another with minor injuries.

The crash occurred at 6:45 a.m., according to WBAL, which said one victim was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and another was taken to Northwest Hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
