Vehicle Fire on I-795 Leads to Detour: Officials

A vehicle fire has shut down part of Interstate 795 Tuesday afternoon in Reisterstown, according to transportation officials.

The fire occurred at 1:12 p.m. in the area of I-795 north at the exit for Franklin Boulevard, the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART) reported.

After 2:30 p.m., all lanes of I-795 north were shut down in the area, with traffic being detoured onto Franklin Boulevard, according to the report.
