The Baltimore County Police Department gives five reasons why you should not leave your vehicle running unattended.

WOODLAWN, MD – Warming up the car and leaving it alone for a second is not just tempting to drivers; police say there’s a thief on the prowl who may also be tempted to take the vehicle.
There have been five vehicle thefts in Woodlawn in recent weeks, and in each case, the auto was left unattended while running, the Baltimore County Police Department reports.
- A 2002 Mercury Mountaineer was taken from the 2100 block of Amber Way just before 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9.
