Walgreens Robbed, Walmart Burglary: Owings Mills, Reisterstown Crime

Five robberies were reported in Owings Mills and Reisterstown this week, police said.

The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in the Owings Mills and Reisterstown area.

There was an attempted knifepoint robbery on Westminster Pike at Harvestview Road at 11 p.m. on Dec. 14. A stranger threatened the victim with a knife, demanded property, then ran away without taking anything.

Three burglars broke the latches on storage containers in the Walmart parking lot in the 9700 block of Reisterstown Road. The suspects took items, and the crime was reported around 4:50 a.m. on Dec. 14.

A person was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint in the 9700 block of Groffs Mill Drive at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 13. The suspect demanded money from the victim, who said he had no money. At that point, the suspect assaulted the victim and took a cell phone.

A woman who met with people to make a purchase in the 200 block of Carolstowne Road was assaulted and her cell phone was stolen. The robbery happened between 1:25 and 1:35 p.m. on Dec. 13. The victim had given the suspects money for a purchase and they tried to leave without giving her anything.

The Walgreens pharmacy was robbed by two suspects in the 700 block of Main Street at 11:50 a.m. on Dec. 13. One of the suspects acted like there was a gun, while the other suspect took drugs.

Suspects pointed a BB gun at someone in the unit block of Cedarmere Road at 10:50 p.m. on Dec. 12.

A cell phone was stolen in a knifepoint robbery in the 4900 block of New Town Boulevard between 3:55 and 4:11 p.m. on Dec. 12. Multiple suspects assaulted the victim, among them one with a knife who ordered the victim to surrender his cell phone. Once the suspects had the phone, they left the scene.
