Want to be a Star? HBO to Hold Open Call at Stevenson
An opportunity to participate in an HBO film about the 2008 election will present itself Saturday at Stevenson University's Greenspring campus.

Ready to re-live the GOP's failed 2008 presidential run—or better yet, have a role in telling the story?
will host an open call for extras in HBO's "Game Change" from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at its Greenspring campus in Stevenson, MD, according to a press release from the Maryland Film Office. The made-for-TV movie will be based on the Republicans' unsuccessful bid against President Barack Obama in the 2008 elections and will be filmed in the greater Baltimore area.
The project is based on the book Game Change by John Heilemnn and Mark Halperin and will star Julianne Moore as former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Ed Harris as Arizona Sen. John McCain and Woody Harrelson as campaign adviser Steve Schmidt. Jay Roach will direct the film and Danny Strong is the script writer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Auditions will be run by Central Casting DC, a 30-year-old talent agency with offices in Baltimore and Washington, D.C., that is looking for extras ages 21 to 60. Those auditioning must bring a current headshot. No phone calls or children allowed, according to the release.
Would be extras should go to the Inscape Theatre at 1525 Greenspring Valley Road and park toward the rear of campus, behind the theatre.
