Wegmans Announces Hiring Blitz Across Maryland

Wegmans Food Markets is looking to make a hiring blitz across Maryland that includes applicants for entry level management positions but focuses more on its culinary and perishable teams, according to the New York-based company.

It particularly wants to fill openings in prepared foods, pizza, bakery, meat, produce, deli, sub shop and cheese shop.

"At Wegmans, we believe that if we take care of our employees, they will take care of our customers," Maryland Division Manager Mike Gorski said in a release. "Because of that, our focus is on creating long-lasting relationships with our employees through growth opportunities, competitive pay and benefits, and by making Wegmans an overall great place to work."
