Woodlawn Barricade Ends With 1 In Custody: Police

A barricade situation in Woodlawn briefly put an area on alert Tuesday in Baltimore County.

WOODLAWN, MD — Police asked people to avoid part of Woodlawn during a barricade situation Tuesday afternoon. The barricade had ended around 12:30 p.m.

About 10 minutes earlier, authorities advised people to avoid the 7700 block of Cornerstone Way, where officers were handling a barricade.

No schools were impacted by the situation, officials said.

After 12:30 p.m., police reported one person had been taken into custody, and the area would be reopening.

Nobody was injured, according to authorities.
