Children’s Guild Names Human Resources Director

The Parkville-based Children’s Guild, which serves children and adolescents who are difficult to educate due to autism, multiple disabilities and trauma, named Lisa Hollingsworth human resources director.

Prior to joining The Children’s Guild, Hollingsworth was the human resources director for Healthstream Inc., where she directed the human resources department, including direct staffing, wages and benefits, training and development, organizational development, program compliance, and safety and security awareness. Previously, Hollingsworth was benefits manager for Holy Cross Hospital and human resources manager for Verudyne Inc.

Among her distinctions, Hollingsworth holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the Society of Human Resource Management. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, the Washington Area Compensation and Benefits Association and the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists.

Hollingsworth graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a Bachelor of Science in business administration.
