Crime: Belair Road Businesses Burglarized

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Belair Road, 8600 block. Between 7 p.m. July 5 and 6 a.m. July 6. A safe was stolen from the manager's office at Dry Clean 4 Less. A concrete brick was thrown through a glass door at the business, and burglars kicked in an interior door before stealing the safe.

Belair Road, 8600 block. Between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. July 6. Burglars broke into Domino's Pizza and ransacked a desk in the manager's office. A concrete brick was thrown through a glass door to enter the building.

Bagley Avenue, 7800 block. Between June 29 and 3 p.m. July 6. Jewelry, including a white gold Wheatland High School Class of 2004 ring and 50 pairs of earrings, was stolen from a home. A screen door was cut open and a window on a rear door was broken to enter the home. A bedroom was ransacked and the above-listed items, worth about $1,190, were stolen.

Denrob Court, 9700 block. Between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. July 4. Jewelry, a Sony video camera and a digital camera were stolen from a home.

Police have arrested the victim's son, 32-year-old Angad Singh Aulakh of Linover, and charged him with first-degree burglary for allegedly taking the items. The majority of the stolen property was recovered when the arrest was made.

Putty Hill Avenue, 3300 block. Between 1:35 and 3:50 p.m. July 1. Jewelry and a pillowcase were stolen from a home. The burglar(s) destroyed a side door to break into the house.

Rockingham Court, unit block. Between February and July. A crib, a 100-piece china set, a Sony PlayStation, a Nintendo GameCube, a Microsoft Xbox 360, books, video cassettes, clothing, two stereo systems and a table set were stolen from the storage locker area of an apartment complex. The total estimated value of the stolen items is $2,680.

A lock was broken off the door to enter the storage locker.
