Crime: Fullerton K-Mart Robbed

Fullerton

Belair Road, 7900 block. At 3:25 p.m. Aug. 18. A man wearing a black baseball cap, shirt and shorts approached a cashier at a K-Mart store, placed a red Betty Boop purse taken from the store on the counter, displayed a black airsoft gun and demanded cash, Baltimore County police said. The cashier complied and the suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is described by police as a black male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slim build.

Fitch Lane, 7900 block. At 11:43 a.m. Aug. 12. A police report notes that members of the Communications Workers of America union organized a peaceful demonstration at a Verizon-owned location. No crimes were committed, but the picket line of the striking workers did prevent a delivery truck from entering the location.

Fitch Avenue, 4200 block. Between 9 p.m. Aug. 11 and 6 a.m. Aug. 12. Two Tom Tom GPS units, valued at a total of $400, were reported stolen from United Site Services vehicles. A chain link fence at the property was pulled back to gain access to the business.

Overlea

Dale Avenue, 700 block. Between 6:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. Aug. 11. Two people broke into a home and were confronted by a resident but then fled. The victim, who told police he knew the suspects, later reported that the suspects had intended to steal a subwoofer from a vehicle parked at the home.

Rosedale

Kenwood Avenue, 6100 block. Between 12:45 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. Aug. 12. Someone set fire to a 2002 Nissan X-Terra parked on the lot of the Rosedale branch library.
