Crime Log: Robbers Hold Up Man in His Own Home

Hillendale

Taylor Avenue, 1400 block. At 5:15 p.m., July 15. Two men entered a home through an open door. The men held the victim at gunpoint and told him to lie down in the bedroom. They stole a 20-inch flatscreen television, a Nintendo Wii, keys and $1,900 cash, then fled on foot.

Oakleigh Road, 8100 block. Between 1 a.m., July 1 and 8 a.m.,  July 14. Someone cut through front window screens and tried to kick in a basement window, but did not gain entry to a home.

Hillsway Avenue, 7800 block. Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., July 14. Glass was broken in a basement door and two flatscreen televisions and a Compaq laptop were taken.

East Joppa Road, 1500 block. Between 7:30 p.m., July 12 and 7:15 a.m., July 13. At Monro Muffler Brake and Service, a someone broke the glass on the front door and stole $100 from the register.

Wentworth Avenue, 1700 block. Between 7 p.m., July 10 and 7 a.m., July 11. A shed lock was broken and two dirt bikes were taken.
