Police Seeking Information on Cedonia Purse Robber

A young woman was robbed in Cedonia, near Rosedale, on March 1 and police are seeking assistance in locating the robber.

At 10:15 p.m. along Barstow Road, a man grabbed a 21-year-old woman and robbed her of cash and a cell phone from her purse, police officials said.

Officials describe the suspect as a black male between 18 and 19 years old, approximately 5-foot-9, and weighing about 170 pounds with a medium complexion.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a gray knit cap, a green hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
