Driver Gives Trooper Fake Name, Chased On I-695: Police
A Baltimore man allegedly gave state troopers a fake name when stopped, was chased on I-695 and arrested at a Parkville shopping center.

PARKVILLE, MD — A Baltimore driver was arrested by Maryland State Police Tuesday after a chase that began on Interstate 695 and ended in a nearby shopping center in Baltimore County, Maryland State Police said.
Don Trey Busship Lee George, 23, is charged with providing a false name, fleeing and eluding law enforcement, driving on a suspended license and driving without a license. He was taken to the Maryland State Police Golden Ring Barrack for processing.
Shortly after 7:40 a.m., a trooper from the Golden Ring Barrack made a traffic stop of a Buick on the outer loop of I-695 at Perring Parkway in Parkville. The driver, later identified as George, gave the trooper a false name, then drove off onto the ramp of Perring Parkway as the trooper returned to the Buick state police said. Once on Perring Parkway the driver got out of the vehicle and ran to the back of the Perring Plaza shopping center.

Troopers, an Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal unit and several Baltimore County units were called in and George was spotted on the rear roof of one of the buildings at the shopping center.
Police say George jumped off the roof and ran from authorities, but was soon caught.
