Dundalk Man Killed in Overlea Crash: Police

A Dundalk man was killed while crossing the street in Overlea this week, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Gary Leahey, 53, of the 7900 block of St. Gregory Drive, was hit by a 2004 Hyundai Sonata as he was crossing Belair Road between Elm and Fuller avenues when he was hit, the report from police said.

At 8:57 p.m. on Tuesday, authorities responded to the scene of the crash, where the driver had remained and Leahey was seriously injured, according to the report.

He was taken to Franklin Square Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

According to police, the crash was under investigation.
